On July 17, volunteers from the DeKalb Public Library got to work helping our artist-in-residence, Danielle Casali, work on mosaic panels for the City of DeKalb mural that will adorn the south wall of City Hall. After a quick tutorial, we immersed ourselves in assembling shapes and colors to fill the panels in Danielle’s design. See some of our progress below!
Volunteers have been coming out in force to work together on this community project, and you can be a part of it! No experience is necessary to volunteer, and all ages can sign up. Children must come with a caregiver.
