The Friends book sales have become a popular community tradition. Held several times a year, the sales feature great prices on thousands of used books, CDs and DVDs. The items are donated by members of the community; shoppers will find a fresh supply of materials at every sale.
Check out the used books located year round on the shelves in the lower level hallway near the stairs. A price list is posted near the shelves. Please drop your payment into the slot in the Friends Room (opposite the shelves).
For more information, please email [email protected] or call (815) 756-9568, ext. 1030.
The Friends accept donations of gently used books, DVDs, and CDs throughout the year. Bring your items to the main circulation desk. Encyclopedias, textbooks, LPs, or magazines are not accepted. Donations are tax-deductible per IRS 501 (c) (3).
