The theme of this summer’s reading program is “read, renew, repeat.” We hope that it inspires you to renew your interest in pleasure reading, repeat that practice all summer, and into the future. If you are already an avid reader, join the Challenge to read even more!
- Sign up and receive a bookmark.
- Log your reading online, with the Beanstack app or website, OR on a paper reading log, available at the Reference Desk or printable below.
- DeKalb Public Library cardholders will earn an entry into our drawing for one of five $20 gift cards to a local business for every five books that you log.
- For every additional five books read DKPL cardholders will earn additional entries to our gift card drawings.

To log your reading on paper, download printable reading logs and turn them in at the Reference Desk in Adult Services.
Drawings for gift cards to the following businesses will be on Tuesday, August 6th and winners will be contacted that day.
