Take your storytime to the next level with the wonderful members of 4-C, where English and Spanish come together for bilingual storytime fun.
The Bilingual Play & Learn with 4-C meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month in the Storytime & Activity Room. Meant for children 0-5 years old, this program supports language development, early literacy, listening skills & concentration, and fine & gross motor skills through songs, rhymes, and parent-child interactions.

Start off the program with a few minutes of playtime, then listen to the story, and wrap it up with a themed craft. The cherry on top? You get to take home your very own copy of the book that was read. In July, we read “Tengo Un Jardin” by Bob Barner.
What a wonderful way to start building your little reader’s library!
Bilingual storytimes are a great way to connect with heritage language, build community, and learn about diverse cultures. Everyone is welcome at these storytimes, even if Spanish isn’t your first, second or third language! You never know, maybe you’ll learn something new!
