Happy National Teenager Day! Since 2015, March 21 has been recognized as National Teenager Day (NTD). It’s a day dedicated to celebrating everything that is awesome about you and recognizing the struggles you’re facing. The library has plenty of resources for you, including a Teen Room. NTD is a great day for you to think about your future goals and the person you want to be.
Less than a month from now, we’re doing something special to help you with future goals. On Saturday, April 19, the library will host a Teen Job Fair from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. This event will feature DeKalb businesses that are interested hiring teenagers. Teenagers ages 14-18 are welcome to attend and visit booths in the lower-level Yusunas Meeting Room. No registration is required.
Dress to impress and remember that staff can help find you books and other resources on jobs, interviewing, or just being a teen.
