Library Reinstates Mask Requirement for all Patrons

Jul 29, 2021 | News, Adults, Kids, Seniors, Teen

Due to recent guidance from the DeKalb County Health Department, and out of an abundance of caution as Covid-19 cases rise, the library will require all patrons ages 2 and above, regardless of their vaccination status, to wear masks in the building. This policy will be in place until further notice.

Library hours and services will remain the same. Patrons will be able to visit the library to use the Internet computers, browse materials, and pick up items on hold. The Teen Room, children’s Tree Room, study rooms, and meeting rooms will remain open to the public. Library programs and events will continue to be provided virtually using forums such as Zoom, Facebook Live, and webinars. An upcoming schedule of events can be found on the library’s Calendar of Events page. We will also continue to update our virtual resources such as databases and downloadable materials including books, audio books, and movies.

We thank you for your cooperation as we continue to navigate the Covid-19 pandemic. Stay safe and healthy!
