Let’s build some robots! There are so many different kinds of robots… from scifi mechs to robots that perform surgery, this theme is almost without limits. What kind of fun robots can you come up with? Here’s some ideas to get you started:

Are you in the mood for something more challenging? Check out these DIY ideas!

Do you have Snap Circuits? Check out this dancing robot tutorial: https://www.instructables.com/id/Dance-Dance-Roverbot-Build-a-Light-Activated-Danc/

If you have an arduino and an old RC car, you can try to make this awesome robot: https://www.instructables.com/id/RC-Car-to-Robot/

Do you have an old CD and a couple of motors stashed away gathering dust? Recycle them into this robot mouse: https://www.instructables.com/id/MouseBot/

Come on, kids! It is time to get creative, and then send us pictures of the results. It doesn’t matter if you are a Lego enthusiast or if you love building with old cardboard, we would love to show off your creations on our blog! Just send the pictures to Miss Julie at juliez@dkpl.org.

Happy building!
