If you have never read a book by Holman Wang, you are in for a treat!
We just got in two of his books, Great Job Dad and Great Job Mom. Mr. Wang is a gifted artist and author that uses needle felting, photography, and gentle rhymes to tell his stories. Both books are lovely odes to parenthood and a nod to all the acts of love that parents do throughout the course of their days. I first read Great Job Dad and I loved it, but when I picked up Great Job Mom, I was expecting the same words, just different pictures. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Great Job Mom is a completely different book, and lovingly addresses different aspects of child care. Both of these books are wonderful, and an absolute joy to read. The art is something to marvel over, too, no matter what your age, so parents and children will enjoy reading these titles.
