The Story of the Sandwich…
A long time ago, in 1762, there was a man in England named John Montagu. He was called the Earl of Sandwich—yep, that was really his name! One day, he put some tasty food between two slices of bread so he could eat without stopping his work or games. People saw it and thought, “Hey, that’s a great idea!” And just like that, the sandwich was born!
August is National Sandwich Month! It’s the perfect time to try all kinds of sandwiches—big ones, small ones, hot, cold, cheesy, crunchy, or sweet!
