Have you ever looked at a rock and thought, “You should be a bug!”

Or found a perfectly flat rock and thought, “I could paint a hug.”

Perhaps you saw a rock and thought, “What a gorgeous scene?”

Or found a rock and decided that it needed to be green?

What about a group of rocks that could be stacked and glued?

Maybe you could find those rocks, and make then come alive..

then share them with your loved ones to brighten up their mood!

So what do you think? Are you up for the art challenge? If you need a something to guide you, we have a book for that! Feel free to check out Painting on Rocks for Kids, by Lin Wellford for some tips and ideas. And as always, if you would like to show off your creations, feel free to email me pictures at [email protected], or fill out the submission form below. Or, you could join our new DKPL’s Crafty Corner Facebook group and submit your artwork to the group. We would love to see what you create!
