Science Storytime for July 23: Anna and Elsa’s Secret Playtime by Victoria Saxon

Jul 24, 2020 | Educational Connections, Kids, Library & Family Fun, News, Reading Romp!, STEAM Adventures

This week we will be reading a story about Anna and Elsa, and their frozen, icy antics in the castle!  Come join us for Anna and Elsa’s Secret Playtime, written by Victoria Saxon, Illustrated by the Disney Storybook Art Team, and published by Penguin Random House.  After the story, stick around for a quick lesson on the states of matter, and then watch me make ice, right on my kitchen table!

If you would like to read more about the states of matter, check out these books on Hoopla that you can read right away.

If you want some experimental icy fun, take a look at these projects, with parental permission, of course!

And just for fun, here’s a coloring sheet featuring Anna and Elsa.

You can reserve the book, Anna and Elsa’s Playtime Adventure, from the DeKalb Public Library by clicking here.

Or, you may read this book right away by using our Hoopla service.
