The new PrairieCat Libraries Mobile app is now live in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store!
Connect with your library right from your device – search the catalog, manage your account, place holds, renew materials, access digital resources, view events and library information, store digital library cards, get library notifications, and more.
New features include:
- Access to e-materials from Boundless– checkout e-books and e-audiobooks right from the app
- Improved linked account settings– manage accounts for the whole family
- Digital library cards– access your library card barcode through the app
- Reading tracker and lists– Save your reading history and favorite titles
- Personal preferences for layouts and languages
- ISBN scanning– Scan the barcode of any book, anywhere, to search for available copies in PrairieCat
Getting started is simple!
Search for “PrairieCat Libraries Mobile” in the Apple App store (iOS) and Google Play store (Android OS). Look for the new “PrairieCat On the Go” icon to be sure you download the correct version of the app.
Log in using your library card number and PIN. Once you log in, you’ll see your home library’s page.
On the home page, you can:
- Search for materials
- Display your digital library card
- Search for nearby libraries
- Scan ISBN barcodes
- Look for eBooks and eAudio
- Access online resources
- See upcoming library events
and more!
