Looking for upcoming events in the community? The library is excited to announce our new community calendar! Featured will be events and programs from organizations in the surrounding area. View all the events on the calendar at once, or narrow your results by using the filters on the left side of the screen. Just make sure to keep the community calendar box checked. As always, you’ll still be able to find library events on our dedicated DeKalb Public Library calendar.
Submitting an Event:
Do you have an upcoming event you would like to share? Submit your event to our community calendar!
Entities may submit up to three events each month and may submit events up to six months in advance. It may take up to 72 hours to post the event, so please make sure to submit the event within our timeline.
Before you submit your event, please make sure that it follows these guidelines:
- Free, or provided at a reduced rate for the benefit of the community
- Held virtually
- Is open to all and does restrict attendance to a certain group of people. Events can restrict attendance based on age and capacity limits.
