Local World War II veteran Don Schoo describes his experience when he was fighting in France.
A veteran of the United States Army, having served during World War II, Don participated in five battle campaigns: landing on D-Day on Omaha Beach at Normandy in Northern France, in the relief of Bastogne, in the Battle of the Bulge in the Ardennes offensive, the Rhineland and the central Europe campaign.
