February Display Case: Safe Passage

Feb 18, 2026 | News, Adults, Teen

Our Main Lobby Display Case for February has been set up by Safe Passage.

It is the mission of Safe Passage to promote the right of all to nonviolent and abuse-free relationships through advocacy, intervention and prevention in DeKalb County.

Safe Passage provides free and confidential services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Their services are open to all regardless of race, ethnicity, sexuality, gender, ability, religion, or immigration status. Contact them at (815) 756-5228 for more information.

Safe Passage has recently begun the process of building a new facility at 217 Franklin Street in DeKalb, which will allow them to house all of their programs under one roof.  Find out more about their capital campaign and other ways to get involved by visiting their website.

Non-profits interested in reserving the library’s display case can contact Samantha Hathaway at [email protected] or at (815) 756-9568 ext. 1701 for more information.
