Our Main Lobby display case for April has been set up by Safe Passage in DeKalb.
Join them for their Walk a Mile in Their Shoes event, an international march to stop rape, sexual assault & gender violence. It is an opportunity to raise awareness in our community about the serious causes, effects, and remediations to sexual violence. The Walk is on Saturday, April 12. Safe Passage will also be hosting an informational booth at the library on Thursday, May 1, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Safe Passage is DeKalb County’s only Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Crisis Center. We provide a wide range of services to survivors and their loved ones including shelter, counseling, advocacy, and so much more. All survivor services are completely free, confidential, and available to all, no matter your age, gender, or when the abuse occurred.
