Are you (or a younger family member) in 3-8 grade and love to perform? Do you have a hidden talent that you’re ready to share? Do you want a chance to win prizes? Get ready to show off, because Dekalb Public Library is hosting our third annual Talent Show! Dekalb Has Talent 2025 will take place Friday, October 17 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the main lobby.
This edition will be unique because besides a talent show, we’re making things a little bit more spooky with a Halloween costume contest.
If you’re not comfortable performing in front of a crowd, a creative costume will still give you a chance to win a $25 Visa gift card ( in 3-5 grade and 6-8 grade categories).
As for the talent show, all talents are welcome. Whether you sing, dance, rap, play an instrument, perform magic tricks or do something else, you’ll have the opportunity to win a $50 Visa gift card in either the 3-5 grade or 6-8 grade category (second and third place also win prizes). All participants will also get a small participation prize.
