7 3D Prints for Your Summer Garden

Jul 22, 2025 | Crafts & Hobbies, Maker Machines, Makers

Summer has just gotten started and there is plenty of work to be had in the family garden. Whether harvesting spring crops or planting seedlings and bulbs for late summer, we’ve found a variety of 3D printable tools can help make the summer days in the garden a breeze. Here are 7 of our favorite 3D prints to keep your plants happy and growing.

Garden Dibbler

This excellent Garden Dibbler has an ideal shape and grip for making holes in the ground to sow seeds, seedlings or small bulbs, plus a visual ruler on the side for planting at the correct depth.

Ergonomic Garden Tool

Who doesn’t need another good sturdy garden rake? This one comes with an angled handle that’s easy on the wrists.

Unbreakable Shovel

Is it really unbreakable? We’re not so sure, but we’ve run this one through the dirt a couple hundred times and it still scoops dirt like, well like a shovel. This one holds up pretty well.

Slug Fence

Keep those pesky slugs and snails at bay with a little structural overhang that they just can’t seem to navigate. The shape can be modified to accommodate most plants and still successfully ward off most slugs. If one does happen to get through though, maybe let him snack, he earned it.

Irrigation Drip Stakes

It may be more work on the front end, but rigging up an irrigation system for your garden can be an absolute time saver. These irrigation stakes make the job even easier. Just place your irrigation lines in the top hole, place the cap on the stake, then line it up so the water goes right where you need it.

Garden Wire Clips

For those other animals looking to get a free lunch from your hard work, extra fencing may be required. Print some wire clips to hold your fences together with ease and simplicity.

Plant Clips

Why fret with string and knots when you can simply slip plant and support through one of these convenient plant clips.

These 3D prints only scratch the surface of what is available to make at the library’s makerspace, 309 creative. For each of the items listed there are dozens of variants and options waiting to be discovered and printed. Stop by the 309 Creative and print your next batch of garden tools.
