Sound Studio
Are you a musician, podcaster, YouTuber, or other digital creator? Check out the library’s sound studio, open for free public use! The studio is an approximately 80 square foot, sound-resistant room located across from the public computer lab. You must make a reservation to use the sound studio.
With a wide variety of equipment (listed below) available for check-out, the sound studio can be used for a variety of recording activities. Patrons are also welcome to bring their own equipment.
Studio Rules:
Patrons 13 and up can reserve a room; patrons 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult parent or guardian.
Rooms can be booked for up to two hours, but can be used for more than two hours if there are no immediate future reservations. Time slots longer than two hours cannot be guaranteed.
Food and beverages are not allowed in the studio.
Patrons who appear to be 18 or younger will be asked for photo ID with proof of age before using the room.
Patrons must complete an orientation before using the studio.
The Sound Studio is located in the Haish building near the Tech Desk. Reservations can be made online, in person, or by telephone.
