Family Fun Science: Catapults

Saturday June 5 @ 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Ready... set... ATTACK—come on, kids, it's catapult time! Grab your family and come over to the library to make your ultimate catapult out of the provided materials and launch marshmallows at your favorite frenemy. This exciting Family Fun Science event is limited to 8 families in the library’s courtyard. Participation is first-come, first-served, and all current CDC measures will be followed. Homeschool Happenings: Chalk Art

Join us for an in-person homeschool chalk art event! Have fun outdoors with a variety of chalk games from around the world, or just draw freely on your own. This is an open event, with no registration required. The program will not run if there is rain. Please wear a mask since you'll likely have to be less than 6 feet apart. This month, we'll use prisms to make rainbows and Fresnel lenses to focus light into a tiny point... and maybe burn some paper (with adult supervision, of course).
