SW Extravaganza is Back!

Star Wars™ fans will get a chance to experience SW Extravaganza 2015: Journey to a Faraway Galaxy at the DeKalb Public Library and at the DeKalb First Methodist Church on Saturday, April 25th from 11am—3pm. The library is planning many activities to be held at both locations. These activities will be free and open to the entire community.

People will be able to test their Star Wars™ knowledge, dig through the infamous trash compactor, show off blaster and lightsaber skills, participate in a costume contest, take a picture with the R2-D2 and C-3PO cutout, destroy the Death Star, help paint a stellar spaceship mural, enter a passport raffle, and more! Bring a canned food item to donate to the Methodist Church’s Summer Lunch and More program and get entered into a raffle for great prizes. Tickets for the raffle can also be purchase for $1 at the library on Saturday.

Maps and the schedule of activities will be available online or at the library soon. Parking is available in city parking lots and in the parking lot on the Southeast corner of North 2nd Street and Oak Street.
