Summer Reading is about to begin! Like last year, children and teen patrons will be able to record their reading electronically or by using our paper reading logs. Visit READsquared to register electronically.
This year’s them is Reading Colors Your World. Beginning May 27, Read Squared will be your Summer Reading hot spot, where you can register, log your reading, and start earning points for digital badges and prizes. You can use this venue from a computer or download an App for your mobile device. Summer Reading will run from May 27—August 7.
Not excited about using our virtual Summer Reading option? Fear not! Stop by the library to register in person and pick up your reading logs. We also have printable copies of reading logs for all age levels on this page.
Listeners Club (age 0-5 years):

For both children’s clubs you can record your progress by using the READsquared website or app, or by using a paper reading log that you can print out or pick up at the library.
Children’s accounts may be created individually, or a family account may be created so that parents can help keep track of their child(ren)’s reading.
Paper Reading Log:
When you reach your reading goal, bring your reading log to the children’s reference desk at the DeKalb Public Library once prizes become available.
Below are printable Children’s Summer Reading flyers.
