There are a few things I need to mention about this video…

If you would like to skip around to different parts of the video, here are the
timestamps:

  • 0:00 Intro and Chapter One
  • 6:03 Chapter Two
  • 12:06 Science Talk: Can You Really Suck the Space Out of Atoms?
  • 17:29 Shrinking Things with Heat and Fun with Circuits

A caution, and some extra info, about shrinking things:
I used my toaster oven to shrink the objects on the level three setting for three minutes. If you want to try this project at home, please get the assistance of an adult to help you use the oven or toaster, and to help you make sure that your pan is lined properly so it does not get ruined. I would recommend using your oven set to 250 degrees Fahrenheit, and check your objects every two minutes. Make sure you have help getting the pan out of the oven because it will be HOT. Also, do *not* use a microwave for this project… you don’t want to accidentally put metal into the microwave and start a fire.
