Categories: Kids, Library & Family Fun, News, Reading Romp!

Spring is here, and now that the weather is warmer, it’s a wonderful time to explore the outdoors. Whether you like to take a walk in the park, visit the playground, or have a picnic, there’s great fun to be had outside.

This spring, why don’t you join us for story times in the park, and consider checking out a good book for your next outdoor adventure!

Outdoor Story Times

Did you know that the library has teamed up with the DeKalb Park District to offer outdoor story times in two of our city’s lovely public parks?

  • Welsh Park story time (with Mr. John): Tuesday mornings at 10:00 a.m.
  • Huntley Park story time (with Ms. Laura): Thursday mornings at 9:00 a.m.

Visit our web calendar to see our full schedule of story times and other outdoor events for kids this spring and summer!
