Miss Julie here again, to share yet another awesome new book with you called, Recycle and Remake: Creative Projects For Eco Kids by DK Books. This book is all about how to take unused items that you may already have and turn them into something completely new.
I love DK books. I really do. I’ve seen a few bummers over the years, but for the most part, DK excels at producing quality content in a very approachable format for kids, and this book does a great job of doing just that. This brightly illustrated book clearly shows and tells children what they need to do to accomplish each project. Scroll through my example pictures to see!
If you check this book out and make a few of the crafts, all of us in the Children’s Department would love to see them! You can either send a photo to me, Miss Julie, at juliez@dkpl.org, or you can upload your pictures to our form below:
New art is added to the Library’s website at the end of the month. If you have not done so already, “like” the DeKalb Public Library’s Facebook page so you will be sure not to miss a future art update!
