Start learning to play the ukulele this winter! Join Jen Conley as she walks you through the basics of playing the ukulele in a virtual three-week class. You will be introduced to essential chords and favorite songs, you will learn how to tune and hold your instrument and will get a glimpse at the popular culture of the ukulele. The class will include introduction to note reading, as well as a presentation of three useful strumming patterns. Come away with a collection of 8 fun ukulele songs, and an appreciation for all things ukulele!

These sessions build on each other, so please only register for the January 23 & January 30 classes if you have taken the one on January 16. Each session will include 45 minutes of instruction and 15 minutes for question/answer. Recommended for ages 8 years and up.

Please register for this event. Once you register you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the Zoom meeting, a phone number to call into the Zoom meeting, and a password to the meeting. Join the Zoom meeting 5 minutes prior to the program, especially if you haven’t used Zoom before.
