King is a dog who loves treats. So when some dog treats go missing, Kayla (his human) thinks King has eaten them. But he hasn’t! Can they solve the case of the missing dog treats?

King & Kayla and the Case of the Missing Dog Treats is the book we’re reading this month in the Bookworm Barbs Book Club. Bookworm Barbs is our book club for students in Kindergarten through second grade. We read short chapter books. Older first- and second- grade students may be able to read on their own, but the books also make a nice, short family read-aloud, too.

Bookworm Barbs is a book party! Not only will we talk about the book, we’ll enjoy a snack and do a craft, too. All of the supplies are included in the April Bookworm Barbs kit, which will be available for pickup in person or via curbside starting March 25.

Please register for this event (you can do that when you pick up the kit). Once you register, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link and password to a Zoom meeting. Join the meeting 5 minutes prior to the program, especially if you haven’t used Zoom before. This program has a limit of 8 participants.
