Who took the cake? Join other 3rd-5th grade students and help Precious Ramotswe solve her first mystery! In our BARB (Books Are Really Brilliant) book club, not only do we read a book, but we have a Zoom meeting with a snack and a game too!

The Great Cake Mystery: Precious Ramotswe’s Very First Case is our book for the month of March. Precious is a natural detective, but when cake goes missing in her classroom at school, it’s not obvious who the thief is. One boy looks like the thief, but Precious believes him when he says he isn’t the thief. Can Precious catch who really stole the cake?

Copies of the book are available for pickup at the library, either though curbside pickup or at the reference desk in the Children’s Department. The book comes with a kit that contains a snack and a bookmark.

Please register for this event. Once you register, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link and password to a Zoom meeting. Join the meeting 5 minutes prior to the program, especially if you haven’t used Zoom before. This program has a limit of 8 participants.
