Thursday, August 17, 2017

6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Location:Yusunas Meeting Room

Join in, right from your seat, as we explore the nature of light! Why is the sky blue at noon and red at sunset? What makes clothes “whiter than white?” How do scientists study the sun and its light? See the world through “alien eyes.” What’s going on with those rainbow glasses NIU STEM gives away?

This program is FREE, open to all, and requires no registration! It is provided in conjunction with the NIU STEM Outreach Team. Participants will receive a pair of eclipse viewing glasses and a flier with viewing tips and safety information for the upcoming solar eclipse.
