Humor is Mankind’s Greatest Blessing: a Warren Brown a.k.a. Mark Twain Presentation

Saturday January 25 @ 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

A reporter asked Mark Twain if life was worth living. He replied, “It depends on the liver.” Join us as Warren Brown depicts the humor of Mark Twain.

You’ll be told partial truths, lies, tall tales, and funny bits of wisdom which you can then tell to your family and friends, or use to impress those ‘special people’ you meet and would like to know better. You too, can be a distinguished humorist like Samuel Clemens a.k.a. Mark Twain, “America’s Oldest Friend.” Always obey your parents, when they are present. Join the ranks of comedians, politicians, news reporters, talk-show hosts, critics, and preachers who make conversation lively and entertaining. Don’t just sit there quietly, learn a new trade, get on the stage, make a statement, be remembered! There are no guarantees, but we promise you’ll have fun trying. I have been on the verge of being an angel all my life, but it’s never happened yet. This show will not absolve you of laws, taxes, or moral responsibilities, but it will shed a different light on them. We ought never to do wrong when people are looking. Begin today. No tests given. Everybody gets an ‘A.’ Be good and you will be lonesome.

This fact-packed delightful tale is for all ages and will live in the hearts and minds of audiences forever. A Chautauqua style ‘Question & Answer’ session is included. Let us endeavor so to live that when we come to die even the undertaker will be sorry.

This program is free and does not require registration.
