Financial Aid for College

Saturday April 2 @ 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

This session outlines the general financial aid process and provides insight on how financial aid works, how to apply for it, student eligibility, and how it can be used to help pay for college. It introduces the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Alternative Application for Illinois Financial Aid, along with summarizing state and federal aid programs among other topics.

As an ISACorps Representative, Taylor Curry does outreach with students, families, schools, and community organizations to help students with post-secondary planning. This includes, but is not limited to, the admission and financial aid process. Whether students are looking for 2 or 4-year degrees, certificates, trade/vocation, or even straight to the workforce—ISAC is a free resource that is here to help.

This workshop is a part of Financial Literacy Month at the library. It is free and open to all. No registration required.

For additional information, please contact Samantha at or at (815) 756-9568 ext. 1701.
