Family Fun Science: Candy Chemistry
Monday February 15 @ 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Make gummy worms dance, see what colors really make up a black jellybean, and start some homemade rock candy! School is out the day after Valentine’s Day this year, so it’s time for some candy-themed science.
If you want to join in the fun, we’ll give you a kit containing most of the supplies you’ll need to do these experiments. You’ll need to have your own general household items like jars or bowls and a microwave. Beginning February 8, our program kits will be available on a first come, first served basis through curbside pick-up at the library (while supplies last).
Do not open your kit until the main Facebook Live event is held at 10:00 a.m. on February 15. We will do the experiments together. Click here to watch the virtual program at that time.
This event is family-friendly; all ages are welcome to participate. No registration is needed to attend this event.
