Family Fun Science: Boats!
Saturday September 19 @ 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Can you build the boat the holds the most mass? Weather permitting, come meet Miss Julie and Miss Laura for a super fun Family Fun Science Saturday in the library’s Haish Memorial Courtyard. Build a boat (all supplies provided) and then use rocks to see how much mass your boat can hold. Social distance will be enforced; masks are encouraged. Work will be done on the ground, so bring a lawn chairs if you prefer not to sit on the concrete.
We encourage families make a fun STEM afternoon of it: do the LEGO Picnic program at 1:00 p.m. in the same location, then visit the library or eat a snack outside until this program at 3:00 p.m.
Please register as a family as space is limited.
For more information, please contact Julie at email@example.com or (815) 756-9568 ext. 3350.
