DIY Zine Studio SEED.SUN.SPROUT.
Wednesday July 31 @ 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM
An event every week that begins at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, repeating until July 31, 2019
Teens and tweens, come collaborate with DIY Zine Studio! This program will be held on Wednesdays, July 10, July 17, July 24, July 31.
A self-published magazine in the traditional “zine style” from the 1990’s, a non-commercial, homemade publication devoted to specialized and often unconventional subject matter using a multi-media art format. We need your brilliant stories, observations, artwork, photographs, poetry, comics, collage and more to create
Participants explore themes of growth and change through writing prompts, multi-media art supplies, a type-writer, and their own imaginations. This workshop is drop-in and choose-your-own-adventure style, and though we will all explore the same questions, each individual artist decides what and how they want to contribute.
When we publish our zine, SEED. SUN. SPROUT. at the end of July every workshop participant will receive their own copy to keep!
This FREE program is intended for teens, ages 13-17, or those rising to grades 6-12. Younger siblings are welcome with older siblings present. Registration is not required.
