Crosstown Exotics Bug & Reptile Show

Thursday June 30 @ 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

There will be three separate shows happening at 10:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 1:00 p.m.!

From literature to the library, Crosstown Exotics reanimates the iconic creatures from the pages of your favorite stories and tales! Dive deep into the creepy crawly world of insects and arachnids! Explore the prehistoric world of reptiles and amphibians and how they have been able to survive since the age of the dinosaurs as well as why they are important to the world we live in. Audiences will be entertained and educated by animal experts as they encounter fantastic beasts – some of the planets largest and strangest bugs, and some of the planets oldest and scaliest creatures.

Crosstown Exotics is a reptile and bug show that travels throughout Chicagoland providing hands-on education entertainment. From African giant bullfrogs and hissing cockroaches to a 16 foot Burmese python and giant tortoises, they have many amazing animals to fascinate and intrigue. Their mission is to promote conservation through presentation and education.

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the DeKalb Public Library. It is free and open to all. No registration is required.
