Meg’s 8th birthday was special, and it’s not just the awesome party and time hanging out with her best friends. Her aunt gave her a ring that she bought at a market in Sweden, and all of a sudden she has superpowers! Read Mighty Meg and the Magical Ring (it’s got lots of pictures!) and then join us for a Mighty Meg book party!

Mighty Meg is our Bookworm Barbs book for June. Bookworm Barbs is our book club for students going into K-2. We read shorter chapter books with lots of pictures. Older first and second grade students may be able to read on their own, but the books also make a nice family read aloud, too.

Bookworm Barbs is a book party! Not only will we talk about the book, we’ll enjoy a snack and do a craft, too.

Pick up a copy of the book at the Children’s Department Desk while supplies last.
