Bookworm Barbs: McBroom’s Wonderful One-Acre Farm

The McBroom family has been hoodwinked, tricked, and bamboozled! They bought an 80 acre farm…but the 80 acres are all stacked on top of each other! Well, it turns out their one-acre farm is mysteriously good at growing things, and they’ve got the tall tales to prove it.
McBroom’s Wonderful One-Acre Farm is our silly May Bookworm Barbs book. Bookworm Barbs is our book club for students in grades K-2. We read shorter chapter books with lots of pictures. Older first and second grade students may be able to read on their own, but the books also make a nice family read aloud, too.
Bookworm Barbs is a book party! Not only will we talk about the book, we’ll enjoy a snack and do a craft, too.
Pick up a copy of the book at the Children’s Department Desk while supplies last.
