BARB (Books Are Really Brilliant) Book Club: Fortunately, the Milk
Tuesday December 14 @ 5:00 PM - 5:45 PM
Aliens + time travel + dinosaurs + pirates + … milk.
December’s BARB book club book is a wacky and funny one: Fortunately, the Milk by Neil Gaiman. Dad went to go buy milk, but it’s taking him forever. Or course he wasn’t talking with his friends at the store, he was kidnapped by aliens! Then he fell into a pirate ship! Then he was rescued by a dinosaur in a hot air balloon! And…well, you get the point.
Read this silly (and short!) story, and then just us at our meeting! At our meeting, 3rd-5th grade students, we talk about the book, but that’s not all! We’ll also play a game and eat a snack in our in-person, socially-distanced meeting.
We are planning on meeting inside the library’s Zimmerman Room, but please register and we will keep you updated if the meeting location changes.
Pick up a copy of Fortunately, the Milk and a free bookmark starting November 16 at the Children’s Department desk.
Please register for this event, as there is a limit of 8 participants.
