BARB Book Club: Lety Out Loud

Lety is quiet, but she’ll fight to be able to adopt Spike, her favorite dog at the animal shelter. When she gets into a contest while she’s volunteering at the shelter, she worries: what if the shelter finds out? Will they keep her from adopting Spike?
Lety Out Loud is a perfect fun summer read, and we’ll have a great time celebrating summer and pets in this month’s BARB book club! BARB (Books Are Really Brilliant) book club is for students going into grades 3-5. At our meeting, we talk about the book, but that’s not all! We’ll also play a game and eat a fun snack inspired by the book.
Pick up a copy of the book and a free bookmark at the Children’s Department desk while supplies last.
