The DeKalb County Community Gardens partnered up with the DeKalb Public Library in the spring and summer months to provide free seeds to the community. Community members were able to “check-out” seeds from this Seed Library. Harvest season is upon us and it is now time save the seeds of the best vegetables that you planted and bring them to us. We ask that you bring them back in a clean, dry envelope or plastic sandwich bag clearly marked with the type of seed labeled.
There is a recommended book list near the Seed Library that helps you check out material that highlights ways to save your seeds.
