Submit a Community Event

The DeKalb Public Library is now posting virtual events to our Community Calendar. Before you submit your event, please make sure that it follows these guidelines.

  1. Free, or provided at a reduced rate for the benefit of the community
  2. Held virtually
  3. Is open to all and does restrict attendance to a certain group of people. Events can restrict attendance based on age and capacity limits.

Entities may submit up to three events each month and may submit events up to six months in advance. It may take up to 72 hours for your event to be posted, so please do not submit events that are happening sooner than that timeline.

  • Accepted file types: jpg, gif, png.
    Must be 375 x 375 dpi and good quality. Please include little or no text in the image.
