Winner of seven 1988 Tony Awards® including Best Musical, The Phantom of the Opera is based on the novel by Gaston Leroux. It tells the story of the hideously deformed Phantom who lurks beneath the stage of the Paris Opera, exercising a reign of terror over its occupants. The phantom falls in love with the young Soprano, devoting himself to creating a new star for the Opera by nurturing her extraordinary talents and employing all the skills at his disposal.

10:30 a.m. Drop off at Macy’s on State Street (free time for lunch/Christkindl market/shopping).
1:15 p.m. Pick up at Macy’s for trip to the theater (optional).
2:00 p.m. CURTAIN TIME for Phantom at the Cadillac Palace Theater!
4:30 p.m. Estimated departure time to DeKalb.
COST: $195 per person. Cost includes round trip deluxe motor coach from De Kalb, orchestra seats, box dinner sandwich for trip back to DeKalb, donation to the FRIENDS OF DEKALB PUBLIC LIBRARY, all taxes and gratuities.
