Fourth of July Craft

Teens, want to celebrate Independence Day? Join us in the Teen Room for holiday crafts: make a star-shaped sun catcher from crayon pieces, and try two ways of painting fireworks! One of each craft per person. Drop in anytime between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. This FREE program is for students ages 11-17 or rising to grades 6th-12th. Registration is not required. Tweens Read and Space Adventure Program

Join other tweens, ages 9-12, in this dual program in honor of the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 moon landing. Read a loaned copy of the book I Love You, Michael Collins by Lauren Baratz-Logsted, about a girl in 1969 who becomes the pen-pal of Apollo 11 astronaut Michael Collins, and come prepared to discuss it. Lunar Landing for Teens

It’s the 50th anniversary of NASA’s Apollo 11 space flight to the Moon and we have some fun activities to share with teens!
