African-American History Online

Funded by the Brian D. Slavenas Center for Cross-Cultural Understanding
The two Facts on File databases, African-American History Online and American Indian History Online, each focus on the history and culture of their respective population group. Information includes articles, videos and photographs, primary source material, biographies and maps. Both databases include curriculum tools for students and teachers. The databases can be searched separately or together as one resource.

Ancestry Library Edition

Ancestry Library is available only in the library and no library card is needed. Databases are worldwide and cover censuses, vital records, immigration records, family histories, court and legal documents, military records from the colonial to the Vietnam era; directories, photos, maps, and more. Search results can be sent to your home email.

Brainfuse HelpNow

Brainfuse HelpNow is a database designed for test preparation and learners of all ages.

It includes:

  • Live online homework help and writing assistance from Brainfuse tutors
  • A study suite of assessment and learning tools such a skills tutoring, practice tests, and flashcards
