Libraries, including our library, provide equal access to education for everyone. It opens the doors to individuals, groups, organizations, and offers opportunities that had previously been unattainable.
“When you come to the library, they’re not going to judge you based off what you’re going to read, what level you are [on]. They are going to help you find that resource.” -Xavier Michael Fuentes (pictured).
Education, inspiration, and information can be found at the DeKalb Public Library regardless of race, class, gender, religion, social status, and any other social barrier. The library exists for everyone, even those who feel invisible.
