Virtual Workshop: Emergency Preparedness
Thursday September 2 @ 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
September is National Preparedness month, and this year, the theme is “Prepare to Protect.” During this virtual presentation, participants will receive tools to help them talk to their family about making a plan during a weather emergency, preparing for disasters, and building an emergency kit. Each participant (limit one per family member) will receive a starter emergency preparedness kit to help families gather initial supplies needed to last several days after a disaster. Kits can be picked up after they attend the brief presentation from the library on Friday, September 3 or Saturday, September 4 during regular business hours. While supplies last.
