Virtual Volunteens Advisory Group
Wednesday February 3 @ 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM

After hearing a ten-minute update from the Teen Librarian, the rest of the meeting is yours to discuss what you want from your library. How has your experience of the library been so far and how could it be better? Which fandom crazes could make fun events for teens? Are there “must have” books, movies, games, and series that should be added to the collection? Is there a current event or issue which teens may want to learn more about?
Because you are devoting your time to the library, you’ll earn volunteer hours for your college application. Because this group is teen-led, you’ll develop team building and leadership skills. Because you’ll be helping us improve library materials and services for teens, you’ll be contributing to your community.
Expectations: 1) Show your commitment by arriving on time 2) Make your mark by contributing to the conversation 3) Give each other respect by taking turns speaking 4) Follow through by answering three survey questions at the end of the program.
This group is for students in grades 9th-12th, or homeschooled students ages 14-17. Register to receive the link to this program’s Google Meet.
