Virtual General Book Club
Monday November 9 @ 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Join the General Book Club, via Zoom, on Monday, November 9 at 7:00 pm when we discuss Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer. The author is a distinguished professor of science and an award winning nature writer. She is also a Potawatomi woman. Kimmerer draws on her scientific training and indigenous teachings to show us how other living beings, including plants and animals, offer us gifts and lessons.
Copies of the book will be available at the library approximately one month before the scheduled discussion. This title is also available as an eBook and can be downloaded through Hoopla, which is available on the library’s website.
Please register for this event. Once you register you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the Zoom meeting, a phone number to call into the Zoom meeting, and a password to the meeting. Join the Zoom meeting 5 minutes prior to the program, especially if you haven’t used Zoom before.
