Teen Tech: Sewing a Cord Keeper
February 26 @ 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
Technology doesn’t just mean robots or computers—sewing machines are technology too! Join us this month as we learn to use the library’s four new sewing machines. We’ll take turns learning how to sew a straight line, and then after mastering that we’ll make simple cord keepers.
This program is part of Teen Tech, our STEM programs for 6th-12th grade students. We meet monthly to do a making or STEM challenge. Materials for this event provided through a grant by the Kishwaukee Sunrise Rotary Club.
This FREE program is intended for grades 6-12. For additional information, please contact Laura at email@example.com or at (815) 756-9568 ext. 2450.
