Location:Story & Activity Room

It’s the Money Smart Week Big Read – a statewide celebration of financial literacy just for kids. From 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 22, the DeKalb Public Library will host a story time and craft that will feature the statewide Big Read book, Money Doesn’t Grow on Trees by St. Louis author Deletra Hudson. Gavin Wilson from Country Financial will read stories and bring along his puppet friend to help! Following the story time, the children can enjoy a fun money craft to take home, along with a bookmark.

The first 15 children to arrive at the event will receive a free copy of the book!

This free event is open to children of all ages and no registration is required.
